Visiting Insadong

~~~
Insadong, located in Seoul’s Jongno-gu district, is a famous traditional culture street and shopping district that is quite popular with foreigners. Being most famous for its souvenirs, traditional Korean crafts, and also for calligraphy and pansori demonstrations, it is especially crowded by tourists on the weekends, so try to go on a weekday if you can. We love the artsy atmosphere!
In order to get there, go on Line 3 and get off at Anguk Station. If you take exit 5 and walk straight, you will soon find Insadong on your left side.
~~~
Ssamzigil is a famous shopping mall, opened in 2004, which concentrates on handcrafts and specialty stores.

~~~ Friendship. We miss you, girl. ~~~
~~~
Leaving the bustle of Insadong's shopping streets we found some rest and quiet in the traditional tea garden Dawon which can be found in Kyung-In Art Gallery.

Kyung-In Museum of Fine Art, 11-4 Insa-Dong 10-Gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Hot tea, delicious cold drinks & free traditional snacks.

~~~
The names of all the stores along the main road are written in Hangul, even those of famous international or Korean brands, which creates a very special atmosphere.
Enjoy your day everyone!
